Sarah turned one on June 23rd (my, how time flies!!). We celebrated her birthday with a play date in the morning and family dinner that evening. We gave Sarah her first cupcake and she wasn't quite sure what to do with it! Although, perhaps she just didn't want the store bought goody?
Sarah continues to be such a joy. She's a very sweet, smiley kid who loves to be around her family and explore everything. She's crawling super-fast and pulling up on everything and "cruising" around the room from one piece of furniture to the next. She'll walk when she's holding your hands (when she's in the mood) and she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES music. Each time she hears a beat her face lights up and she dances! Her favorite word right now is "Ma ma" but she also will say Baby, Bye bye, Da da, and Dog. She shakes her head no (a little too often!) and is changing every day!
Sarah got a clean bill of health at her one year appointment on the 25th. She continues to be on the same growth curve as her big sister, but the differences are becoming more apparent in their looks and most definitely their personalities!!
Matigan - 1 year: 20lbs, 4 oz; 29 1/2 inches long
Sarah - 1 year: 20 lbs 5 oz; 29 1/8 inches long
