The day after Matigan's preschool graduation/show we boarded a plane for Atlanta! Matigan was such a wonderful traveler and we were so proud! Sarah did as well as any 11 month old that is being held in tight quarters could do. All in all it was a fine flight. We rented a car and headed south to Thomaston, GA where my dad and Mary Pat have a fabulous spread. Although in our tired state we went about 20 miles in the wrong direction, we arrived to see my dad, and brother Tucker! Soon after we arrived Matigan had all her toys out to show her Uncle and Grandpa and turned to me and said, "you go to Chamaica now?" And here we thought we should get the girls comfortable in new surroundings before Ryan and I went to Jamaica!! We spent two days in Thomaston and had such fun! Dad and Mary Pat have chickens, cows, dogs, a little lake, two cabins, a main house, and a cabin for the girls! Who couldn't have fun on 25 acres of this?!

The dog in the picture was "rescued" mid-week. He's so gentle and sweet although he is HUGE!

Matigan loved feeding the chickens, but was a little unsure about being on the ground with them walking around her.

Ryan and I headed to Jamaica (the day after we spent a couple hours in the emergency room with Matigan. She broke out into hives and swelled up suddenly. We think it was Cashews... but who knows? Benedryl did the trick, but it's best to be safe especially when we were leaving the country). I'll post pics of Jamaica in another entry soon. The girls had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa and everyone bonded and got along famously!
I'll break this into two postings since this one is already long and full of text and pictures. In fact, I seriously doubt anyone is even reading this last paragraph! : )
