Family dynamics

As mentioned in an earlier post, Matigan is starting to take real interest in Sarah lately and it's so wonderful to watch their relationship change! Any time that Matigan talks to Sarah or goes near her, Sarah's face lights up and she giggles and coos.

Last night at the dinner table Sarah was in her Bumbo seat and the rest of us were eating. Matigan says to me, "mommy, this hand is clean?" while showing me her right hand. I told her it was clean and she proceeded to reach over and pick up Sarah's rattle that she'd dropped and handed it back to her saying, "here you go cutie". It was so very sweet (and we thought so thoughtful for her to make sure her hand was clean before touching Sarah's toy).
