May 2013 - we moved a few miles away to a new house with a lovely view of open space. While we loved our old neighborhood, school, and friends, we really wanted a different view out of the back of the house. We are very happy in the new home and are grateful that we're still close enough to the old place to see our friends etc...
June 2013 - we settled into the new house for the first couple weeks and enjoyed our new surroundings. Sarah Corinne learned to ride her two-wheeler by herself and we enjoyed some hikes and time at local parks.
June 23, 2013 - Sarah turned FIVE! Yes, our baby is no longer a baby. We had a low-key family celebration which ended with a delicious trip to The Melting Pot for dessert! Nana and Bubba joined us and it was great fun to celebrate Sarah!!
June 24, 2013 - we set off early in the morning, destination Kauai, HI! (I'll have to write a new post on that one - too much to share!)
A little note to our sweet five year old:
Sarah, You continue to be such a joy. You are kind, sweet, smart, and very funny! It is such a pleasure to be your parents and to watch you grow into a wonderful young girl! We know that you will accomplish great things in your life because you are hard-working, intelligent, and loving! Continue to be who you are and know that you are loved unconditionally by your parents and your sister as well as many extended family and friends!
