We are enjoying an incredible Indian Summer in Colorado - it has been unseasonably warm and I personally LOVE it! Ryan, on the other hand, is ready for the cool fall temps. The girls are settled into the school routine and enjoying the days that they get to go to Kiddie Kopia!
In mid-September we went on the annual field trip to Miller Farms and had such a great time! We arrived and played in the large play area complete with a jumpy zone (what do you call that orange and blue contraption below??)
And a day just isn't complete without a picture in a GIANT shoe!
Or a trip through a tunnel
And exploring an old Fire Truck!
After playing we ventured on to a large wagon pulled by a tractor. We stopped at numerous fields and hopped out to pick our own vegetables! We picked corn off the stalk, onions, potatoes, peppers, pumpkins, beets, carrots and more! The girls both had a great time and we came home tired, dirty, and with bags full of veggies!
I didn't get a picture of our harvest from the farm, but here is a little glimpse of the vegetables from our back yard garden! Yummy!
