For the Birds

Much to our surprise we discovered a bird's nest just outside Matigan's bedroom window. It is the perfect place for a nest. Tucked in the bracket of our satellite dish 1 foot from Matigan's window! I eagerly took Matigan to see the bird and nest and she yelled and scared the bird away - only for us to discover 4 eggs in the nest. We have been watching the birds daily and the eggs hatched some time around May 1st. The birdies are growing well and we watch the dad hunt for food and the mom feed the babies . It's such a wonderful experience for all of us to see - especially for Matigan.
