Celebrations!

A quick update from the Welch Family. All is going smoothly and we're adjusting well to our new family! Matigan has been a great big sister. She's frequently heard asking "where baby Sarah go?" and "mommy wake up baby Sarah". Matigan is making us proud as she adjusts to sharing our attention. Don't get us wrong, she's still a typical two year old that tests the boundaries every minute!! She keeps us on our toes.

We celebrated Ryan's birthday on July 2nd with a quiet night at home and ordered some take out. And, of course, some cake! Matigan just loves cake!


Sarah is doing great too! She is a good sleeper (sometimes it's tough to get her up to eat) during the day and the nights aren't too terrible either. We're trying to settle into a routine, but it's still in the development stages! Here are a few pics of the last week.


























Matigan sometimes wants to hold Sarah and is typically very sweet and gentle with her little sister.






Last, but not least, we enjoyed the 4th of July by going to a festival near by and Matigan had a great time at the park. She wore the cutest dress that she got from her Nonnie (Tiff's mom) and she felt so special wearing it! Sarah slept and ate through all the festivities (typical 11 day old!!). We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday too!
