Over the river and through the woods....

...to Nana and Bubba's house we go!! Last weekend we loaded the family car with both girls, the dog, and lots of "stuff" and headed up to the mountains to visit Ryan's parents. It was a nice drive and the girls slept most of the way and Ryan and I actually had an adult conversation! That was a first in a long time.

We enjoyed a family dinner which included Patrick and Melissa and Casey and Tyra on Friday night and celebrated all the Welch boy's birthdays (which fall within a week in early July). Matigan definitely enjoyed the birthday cake!! Here are a couple pics:

We went to a free concert on Saturday night in Beaver Creek and saw the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. It was really hot so we didn't last long, but it was great fun while it lasted.
