I have prided myself on having a fabulous memory. However, now that I'm a mom of two girls and turned 40, the mind isn't what it used to be! I dedicate this Blog to my family so that we may all remember.

Air Force Academy Cheer Camp
We spent part of last weekend in Colorado Springs with some friends so our girls could participate in the Cheer Camp at the Air Force Academy. Matigan (6 1/2), Sarah Corinne (4 1/2), and their friend Alyssa (5) went to the two hour camp Saturday morning and worked with a few of the USAFA Cadet Cheer and dance team members to learn a dance and cheer. The girls focused, worked hard, and had fun!
Here are some pics of the camp in the Field House and then the performance during halftime of the Men's Basketball Game (the Falcons beat #22 ranked San Diego State!!).

Here is a quick video of one of the practice sessions for the dance:
If you look behind the USAFA Girl in front you'll see Sarah Corinne on the left (blue shirt, skirt, gray leggins), Alyssa in the middle with a cheer leader uniform on, and Matigan on the right with a blue shirt and skirt. Viewing is better when you click "Watch on YouTube". You can improve the quality to HD by clicking on the settings button.
