Hard to believe, but our baby girl turned three on June 23rd. We celebrated Sarah Corinne's special day with a trip to the Denver Zoo with a couple other kids and had a terrific time. Sarah loved watching the Hippos and both of the girls said the Carousel ride was their favorite part of the day. [Figures, go to a zoo and all they want is to ride the merry-go-round. : ) ] Later that afternoon Sarah was able to "see" Uncle Tucker, Aunt Nicole and her cousins Kevin and Julia for our Skype session. How wonderful to share in her birthday with relatives that live so far away! We also had some friends over for cake and ice cream which made Sarah so happy!
Our little lady is so blessed to have such special people in her life (both of the girls are). Sarah's preschool teacher and her husband are like another set of grandparents to the girls and Miss Kimmie and Dr. Pauli picked up Sarah earlier in the week for her very own birthday outing to go to "Red Robin... Yum". Matigan went with them on her birthday and Sarah has looked forward to her special time for a couple months now. She had such fun! As if that outing and the zoo weren't enough, Sarah Corinne's Godparents; Holly and Garett and her godbrother Sawyer took her to a special children's concert in Boulder today. After the show they went to lunch and Sarah enjoyed every minute of her special time with the Graubins family!
Often times when we look back over the years it is not the presents that we receive that are important, it's the time we get with those that love us. I know Sarah will cherish her Birthday outings!
