Cookies, parades, and trees oh my!

We have been busy getting into the holiday spirit this year. Ryan hung the lights on the house, we put up the tree and garlands, made a gingerbread house, and decorated cookies! And, we still have a couple weeks before Christmas!

Our great friends Holly and Sawyer came over to help us decorate the cookies. Matigan and Sawyer did a great job!!

We were planning to go to the Louisville Parade of Lights on Friday night. We headed to the Graubins' house before to enjoy some food and wine and as the time approached to leave we realized just how cold it was outside (in the 20's) and we opted to have a parade indoors with the kids. Although I'm sure they would have liked to see some floats outside, they had so much fun being on parade and finding costumes to wear!
