Well, we were oh so lucky the last week to have our run-in with the H1N1 flu! Although the media hype has many of us thinking that the Swine Flu is an illness that may immediately land you in the hospital, we all survived just fine. Don't get me wrong, it was a horrible 10 days at the Welch house, but we're coming out of it now.
Matigan was the first to come down with it on a Saturday followed by Ryan on Sunday and me and Sarah on Wednesday. The toughest part was Ryan and I both being so sick and having to still take care of the kids and each other. We opted for short shifts the first couple days until Ryan began to feel better. It was far worse for us than it was for the kids though, thankfully!
We are grateful for our health and our strong little family. We made it, we made it!!
